Propery on the move

A new residential construction project is on the move in Athlone Park, near our Amanzimtoti offices. Mc Naught and Company have been appointed the project conveyancers and deals exceeding R15mil have been secured to the satisfaction of the projects financiers with a number of other deals awaiting bond finance.

Partner Mark and his fiance Lisa tackled the 15km route on the Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk this past Sunday. Both of them walked, and both survived!

Fix-up time

Having just repaired the roof leak at the Bluff office, it was time to fix the damage.. so a repaint in Mark's office, new carpets and some new books to replace the water-damaged ones... here Guy and Dave fix the pictures back on the walls after the repaint. At Guy's wedding reception two weeks ago his wife Cara was warned that he was not particularly handy, and you can see it here if you note that the drill has no drill bit... ) ha ha.

Office Christmas Lunch

We had an awesome office Christmas Lunch at Virginia Airport today with a yummy meal prepared by the Head Office restaurant and flips in Dave's plane afterwards.

Thanks for all the hard work during 2012 girls and boys. We're looking forward to a very short break over Christmas during the Deeds Office closure and will be registering transfers and bonds up to the 21st December.

MPC Leaves Rates Unchanged

The SA Reserve Bank Monetary Policy Committee has left the lending rate unchanged at the meeting this afternoon. This is not the news that the property market was hoping for, but the stability in having the rate unchanged yet again means that buyer's can buy with certainty that the MPC is following a conservative approach.
